Join our comprehensive 25-hour Group Mentor Coaching Practicum designed to enhance your coaching skills and align with ICF MCS coaching standards. If you’ve taken the PCC Marker or ACC BARS but still need 20.5hrs asynchronous learning then this course is for you. ***This course fulfills the practicum portion of the Standard Pathway for getting your ICF Mentor Coaching Specialization (MCS) and has a prerequisite of providing a completion certificate for the PCC Marker or ACC BARS. In addition, you must hold an ACC or PCC with ICF.

***This is a pilot program and course materials will be added each week with the bulk of the content being loaded the first week of Sept.

Video of program description will be loaded in the first week of Sept  to maintain student support limited to 12 participants. 

Program includes:
Length of Training 10 Weeks
Delivery of Training One 1:1 coaching session (pre event)
Virtual Live Weekly Course, Experiential Learning Assignments – Practical Application Hands on Learning. Experiential Course Work Practice: Providing Feedback, Laser Coaching, Mentor Coaching both Group & Individual Coaching
Approximately 2.5 Hours Per Week Two-hour live virtual session once a week, weekly journal log.
23hrs live interactive practicum (including 1:1 coaching session)
2hrs OnDemand Video Series

Must Attend Live Class Session: This program is designed to meet the professional association standards of NBHWC, & CAMFT, ICF. All professional associations require complete attendance. ***Additional fee for a missed class makeup sessions.

Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this program, participants will be able to:

Understanding ICF Competencies: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the six ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies and how to apply them effectively within mentoring relationships. 
Evaluating Coaching Conversations: Participants will learn to assess coaching conversations using ICF Core Competencies and evaluation tools to identify strengths and areas for improvement. 
Delivering Competency-Based Feedback: Participants will develop the ability to provide objective feedback that encourages reflective learning and enhances coaching effectiveness. 
Facilitating Mentor Coaching Sessions: Participants will be equipped to lead both individual and group mentor coaching sessions that promote development and psychological safety. 
Applying Ethical Principles: Participants will apply ethical standards and professional guidelines throughout the mentoring process, aligning with ICF expectations. 
Supporting Continuous Growth: Participants will support ongoing professional development through reflective practice and competency growth evaluation.
Fostering Reflective Practice: Participants will enhance their ability to facilitate reflective learning activities that contribute to continuous professional growth. 
Promoting Psychological Safety: Participants will learn techniques to create a safe and supportive environment for mentor coaching, fostering open communication and trust.

Course Curriculum

Dr. Janine Elias

Dr. Janine Elias is the Founder and the President of Elias Institute of Professional Coaching providing coach certification, continuing education, professional development, resiliency leadership training, custom programs, leadership retreats, and coaching and consulting for individuals and organizations. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership, a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and is certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) and the National Board Certified Health and Wellness (NBC-HWC). Dr. Elias specializes in nonclinical trauma reduction, crisis response, system/culture reform, and building hardy and resilient teams through resiliency leadership. All of her trainings and programs are uniquely designed to utilize industry best practices to support the transfer of training and practical application/utilization of course content and materials.
